As a company in expansion, we seek to offer high growth opportunities as we see great success. The Project Manager plans and supervises a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Works with project coordinators to ensure equipment arrives to job site in a timely manner
- Performs pull-planning activities with General Contractor, discusses and reviews jobsite readiness with General Contractor
- Hires contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities when needed
- Communicates and works closely with superintendents for daily updates
- Evaluates and reviews project progress by reviewing and populating submittal logs, cost sheets, RFI logs, change order logs, etc
- Reviews shop drawings and releases custom orders for fabrication via approval of drawings
- Reviews and approves purchase orders
- Requests vendor quotes to compile and issue requests
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial construction project manager in the Foodservice Equipment Industry
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and documentation, commercial kitchen equipment, and project management principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluemean by Revu, and AutoQuotes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem solving
Location:
- Remote - up to 70% travel required
